Lower Pottsgrove Township will receive sealed Bids for the separate Prime Contracts of General Construction, HVAC Construction, Plumbing Construction, and Electrical Construction, for the Lower Pottsgrove Township Municipal Building & Police Station renovation project. Bid each contract on a lump sum basis; segregated Bids will not be accepted.

The Bids are Due on October 4, 2024, at 2 PM via PennBid.

Digital Bidding Documents: Available September 10, 2024.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for all bidders: September 18, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the project site, 1963 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.

Additional site visits shall be limited to the following times and require pre-registration with the Owner’s Agent before 5:00 P.M. the day before the planned visits: 1. Wednesday, September 25, 2024; 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. 2. Thursday, September 26, 2024; 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Bidding documents will not be available at the pre-bid conference.

To bid on the project, all Prime Contract Bidders MUST register with and purchase bidding documents from Muhlenberg Greene Architects, Ltd. to receive all pertinent Addenda and bidding information.

The Bidder shall submit a properly executed AIA Document A305, Contractor’s Qualification Statement, a sample of which is included in the Project Manual, and a supplemental Qualified Contractor Certification form (specification section 007400A) to be completed by each Prime Contractor and its major Subcontractors.

The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.

The Contracts shall be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
